Dubai O-Plate This Weekend
The annual Dubai O-Plate race weekend takes place this coming weekend at Dubai Kartdrome.
Featuring both IAME X30 & Rotax classes, racing will start on Friday with qualifying and heat races, the finals will be held on Saturday.
The 2017 O-Plate will experiance it's biggest ever grids, with 30 entries in the IAME X30 Senior class setting another record for both the Dubai O-Plate grid size and UAE Karting.
A total of 102 drivers will race in the following classes:
Bambino - 14 Drivers
Rotax Micro Max - 7 Drivers
Rotax Mini Max - 14 Drivers
IAME X30 Cadet - 9 Drivers
IAME X30 Junior - 19 Drivers
IAME X30 Senior - 30 drivers
IAME X30 Shifter - 14 Drivers
The X30 Senior grid of 30 drivers features some of the regions top drivers including Sean Babington, Pascal Pook, Abdullah Alrawahi, Tom Bale, Piers Pakenham-Walsh, Lucas Peterson, Mau Hernandez Guillen and Amna Al Qubaisi. The racing in the this class should be a spectical to watch.
